williams lunch ride

Jon, Charlie and I went out for a short lunch ride today. We decided to ride the new william’s canyon drop in and then the regular williams canyon trail the rest of the way out. This was my first mountain ride with my new helmet cam so I spent a good deal of it fooling with the various settings and features. Its kind of disapointing how easy the videos make the trail look.

Killer dude! Awesome footage with the helmet cam’. Smooth, not a lot of wind or vibration noise either. Looks like a fun ride in the day light! Jim

hey — really liking the still-shots you’re getting w/ the helmet cam! i like pix #4 and 5 below… neat to see both terrian and motion in a still shot, and the perspective is really interesting!

    love the tatts, too….

    thanks for sharing!

we are doing a night ride tonight. not sure if i can rig the camera up to work at night but i will give it a shot. you should check out the gopro hero wide helmet cam. thats the one i have and it works great and won’t break the bank. qbp sells them so any bike shop can get you one. i payed $130 for mine i think.
